“The Voice” Season 20 premiere will introduce music lovers to the 2021 judges of the NBC singing competition. Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Nick Jonas will be building their teams and mentoring aspiring singers throughout the show.

However, contestants will need to give it their all when they hit the stage to impress and convince the judges to turn their chairs during their blind auditions.

The country singer will be returning to the NBC competition for his 20th consecutive season since the show’s 2011 premiere. Throughout the course of the series, Shelton has mentored seven grand prize winners.

The “Minimum Wage” singer is no stranger to coming in first place. Shelton has a total of 27 no. 1 country singles, including his song “God’s Country,” which earned the ACM Single of the Year award.

However, on the show, Shelton revealed his fellow judges aren’t happy about his history of victories.

“They gang up on me to beat me,” Shelton said in a clip about the show’s 10-year anniversary.

“It makes me happy to see the other coaches come up against me. It’s cute. It’s desperate. All three of them have to get together to try to beat little ol’ me. It’s kind of funny.”

When the coaching begins, Shelton will be working with Grammy-winning country music duo Dan + Shay as his battle advisors.

Kelly Clarkson

After winning three seasons, Clarkson is back to battle it out for another win on “The Voice.” The “American Idol” alum has earned several accolades throughout her career, including three Grammy Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award, four American Music Awards, and more.

When she isn’t mentoring contestants or performing, Clarkson is busy hosting her Emmy-winning daytime talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

During the upcoming season of “The Voice,” Clarkson will be relying on Grammy-Award-winning singer Luis Fonsi to help guide her team to victory.

John Legend

After winning “The Voice” in 2019 during his first year on the judge’s panel, the EGOT winner is back once again for a chance at victory. Legend has earned a number of accolades for his talent, including 11 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Tony Award, and an Emmy Award, among others.

When the new season of the series begins, Legend will be consulting with Grammy-winning R&B singer Brandy in hopes of helping one of his team members win the competition.

Nick Jonas

The singer is returning as a coach following his debut on the judges’ panel on “The Voice” Season 18. Once Jonas picks his team on the show, the singer will lean on actor and singer Darren Criss as a battle advisor.

Although Jonas didn’t score a win the first time around, from the looks of an NBC promo video, the chart-topping artist is more confident about facing the other coaches this season.

“John, I’m coming for you. Blake, buddy, you know I love you, but also, I’m coming for you. Kelly, I’ve missed you, but I’m also excited to crush you” Jonas said in the clip.

“The Voice” Season 20 premieres Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
