"The Voice" Season 8 premieres on Feb. 23, featuring a new crop of celebrity mentors. NBC

After crowning a winner for Season 7 mere weeks ago, NBC’s “The Voice” is already gearing up to premiere Season 8 in one month. With a new season comes a new chance for the celebrity judges to bring on some high-profile talent as mentors.

Us Weekly reports that four celebrity guest mentors will make cameos and help the coaches and their contestants through the battle-round stage of the competition in the first 2015 installment. "Hello" singer Lionel Richie, who previously assisted judge Christina Aguilera's team in Season 2, will help Team Pharrell Williams. Also joining the list of celebrity mentors is Ellie Goulding, who will help Team Adam Levine; Nick Jonas, who will assist Team Christina Aguilera; and Meghan Trainor of "All About That Bass" fame, who will mentor Team Blake Shelton.

These celebrity guest mentors will come into play following the competition’s fan-favorite blind auditions to help get the singers up to par for the remaining competition. Season 7 recently wrapped up after choosing country-leaning singer Craig Wayne Boyd from Team Blake, giving the judge his fourth win during his seven-year run with “The Voice.”

Meanwhile, Season 8 will also see the return of judge Christina Aguilera, according to ET. After two seasons away from the competition, replaced by Shakira in Season 6 and Gwen Stefani in Season 7, the 34-year-old singer is returning to the show she helped start. Aguilera is ready to get back to “The Voice” as one of the original judges on the singing competition. With Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and Blake Shelton also returning, Pharrell Williams will be the only Season 8 judge who wasn’t around during Season 1.

While Aguilera was away, she welcomed new little girl Summer Rain with fiancé Matthew Rutler in August. In addition to welcoming a new child, the artist is also on the verge of releasing her eighth studio album.

“The Voice” Season 8 is scheduled to premiere on NBC Feb. 23.
