Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) will be worried about a new threat in Season 5, episode 11 of "The Walking Dead." AMC

What could possibly happen next on “The Walking Dead”? A whole lot! The AMC series returned for the second half of its fifth season at the beginning of February, and it didn’t slow down on the drama. In the first episode back the survivors lost Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman), and in the second hit a tornado that destroyed their surroundings. However, things seem to be looking up. Last week episode 10 concluded with a mysterious man named Aaron appearing in front of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) claiming to be a “friend.”

Is Aaron really a “friend”? Or is this a trap like Woodbury or Terminus? The survivors have no food, water or shelter, but that doesn’t mean that they are willing to take a chance on a complete stranger.

The synopsis for episode 11, “The Distance,” teases that Maggie and Sasha will bring Aaron back to the barn they are staying at to meet Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the others. Aaron will appear to be “a friendly person.” But the episode description explains that the group will “find themselves mistrustful.”

“You could trust me,” Aaron tells Rick in the promo video.

“We don’t know you,” Rick fires back.

In the video, “Walking Dead” viewers can see Rick rummage through Aaron’s bag. Although it’s unclear if they decide to follow him or not to his group’s safe haven, one thing is certain – they’ll be coming dangerously close to a large pack of walkers.

Episode 11, “The Distance,” airs on AMC on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 9 p.m. EST. Watch the promo video and sneak peek video below:
