There have already been too many deaths in “The Walking Dead,” but more departures can’t be ruled out in the ongoing Season 9. Theories have started surfacing online about another exit after cast member Katelyn Nacon announced that she has shifted her base.

Nacon has been playing the role of Enid since Season 5. In a recent interview with KTLA 5, the actress confirmed that she has shifted base from Atlanta, Georgia to Los Angeles.

The news of an actor moving to a new city in itself isn’t a big indication that a character will die on the show. But, given the dramatic changes on “The Walking Dead,” and the fact that some big deaths have already been featured in Season 9, there have been some theories online that suggest that Enid will be the next one to go.

Enid was originally the love interest of Carl (Chandler Riggs). Now that the latter is dead, Enid has kept herself relevant as the resident doctor at Hilltop. Will the character die in the upcoming episodes?

The big enemy faction in “The Walking Dead” Season 9 is a mysterious group known as the Whisperers. In Episode 11, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and the others were able to avoid a conflict, but the events in the episode seem to promise an eventual war, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The following portion of the article contains spoilers from “The Walking Dead” Season 9, episode 11.

The one thing that the leader of Whisperers Alpha (Samantha Morton) has been keen on is her daughter Lydia (Cassady McClincy). If the people from Hilltop rescue Lydia from her abusive mother, there is sure to be a conflict.

While there have been a lot of changes in the TV series, it still borrows heavily from comics. The new character Henry (Matt Lintz) isn’t there in the source material, but according to a report by Bustle he seems to be taking on the role of Carl.

Henry and Lydia’s relationship is still developing on the show. It remains to be seen if this relationship will continue or if Alpha’s daughter will die prematurely.

The next episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 9 airs on March 3 at 9 p.m. EST.
