Wall Street trims gains on Fed minutes
Stocks briefly trimmed gains on Wednesday following the release of minutes from the Federal Reserve's recent policy-setting meeting.
The minutes showed Fed officials expected the U.S. recovery to continue but saw a slow pickup in employment growth.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 15.72 points, or 0.15 percent, at 10,284.53. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 1.88 points, or 0.17 percent, at 1,096.75. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 5.88 points, or 0.27 percent, at 2,220.07.
