So much for Disneyland being “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

Members of a family decided to take their private squabble public by tearing into each other during a four minute-long shouting match and fistfight at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

Video of the violent family brawl on July 6 was recorded and later posted on YouTube. It shows at least four male and female members of a family punch, kick, slap and yell at each other in this melee that stunned visitors to the Magic Kingdom.

Police said a heated conversation between family members escalated into a bruising fight in front of Mickey’s Toontown. Sgt. Daron Wyatt later said the family was “uncooperative” with authorities.

“Now that we have the video, detectives will be following up to see if any criminal charges can be filed,” said Sgt. Wyatt.

The video shows the fight began with an argument between a tall and burly man clad in a red shirt and a woman in a white tank top pushing a stroller with two young girls. The woman spits at the man who then punches her in the face as horrified visitors watch and scream.

A man in a white T-shirt intervenes and both men trade wild punches while three of their women folk scream at them. The man in the white shirt strikes one of the women (dressed in a striped tank top) in the face.

Both men again have at each other but are pulled apart by two male bystanders. The man in red confronts the woman who spit at him, and pulls her hair. He then walks away and the other family members begin to also walk away.

The woman who spat at the man in red and the woman in the striped tank top then punch each other, while kicking and pulling each other’s hair. An old woman supported by the girl in the striped top falls to the ground.

Seeing his mother fall, the man in red returns and begins slapping the woman who spat at him. He yanks her shirt and she falls to the ground as bystanders restrain him. He again walks away but returns to yell, “I’m ready to go to jail tonight.”

He then beats-up the woman in the striped top until she falls to the ground. He keeps hitting the fallen woman and pulling at her hair as three men try to restrain him. The men force him to the ground.

Disneyland security arrives and breaks-up the fight. The persons involved in the fight were immediately removed from the park, said Liz Jaeger, a spokeswoman for Disneyland Resort.

“Any type of violence is inexcusable and will not be tolerated,” Jaeger said.
