Meghan Markle has been dubbed the royal rule breaker, and she reportedly wants her husband to follow her lead. She has allegedly forbidden Prince Harry from participating in the traditional hunting party the day after Christmas.

“It’s a disgusting tradition,” Meghan said, according to Radar Online.

An anonymous source claimed that the Duchess of Sussex has been prodding her husband to bow out. “Meghan is pushing Harry to make excuses as to why he won’t be able to attend this year. She’s likely to succeed again, and Royal aides fear it shows further signs of her power in Royal circles,” the insider told the outlet.

It won’t be too surprising if Harry skips the annual hunt with the Royal Family. He did the same last year, despite taking part in the holiday tradition most years since he was 12.

“The Boxing Day shoot was always going to be a tricky issue. Meghan is a keen animal rights campaigner and doesn’t like hunting in any form,” a royal insider told The Sun last year. “Harry loves it and has always been out there on Boxing Day. But if it means breaking with long-standing royal traditions to avoid upsetting her, so be it. It’s fair to say that there are some pretty stunned faces around here.”

This tracks with the “what Meghan wants, Meghan gets” reports that have been circulating. The pregnant duchess has been deemed “difficult” and “demanding” in recent weeks. Both her personal assistant and Prince Harry’s chief of staff have turned in their resignations. Additionally, rumors claim that she made Kate Middleton cry during wedding prep, she berated Kate’s staff (which Kensington Palace later denied) and she is allegedly demanding a Hollywood publicist to deal with the recent negative reports.
