Actress Lindsay Lohan announced her engagement to Bader Shammas on Sunday morning in a series of photos.

The actress shared four photos of herself with her new fiance and engagement ring on Instagram. “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love,” Lohan captioned the post along with a diamond ring emoji.

Lohan also tagged jeweler Harry Winston and her sister Ali Lohan in the photo.

Shammas, who began dating Lohan around two years ago, is the assistant vice president at Credit Suisse in Dubai.

According to his LinkedIn page, Bader attended the University of Tampa where he received a bachelor of science in finance. Prior to his job with Credit Suisse, Badger was an associate at BNP Paribas Wealth Management.

Following her successful career as a child star, Lohan struggled as an adult actress in Hollywood. She eventually moved around before settling in Dubai.

In 2018, Lohan told W Magazine she was content with living in a new country. “I felt so relieved when I moved everything over from London to Dubai and I saw everything in one place,” she said at the time.

“Now I don’t have to open suitcases and live out of hotels and bags. Everything is where it should be. It’s a cleansing of your head, which is what I needed, and it took me a while to do it. … I would love to own a place in New York, and that’s something I will look into in the future, but right now I’m okay with where I live.”

She continued added, “There’s a certain calmness that I find there [in Dubai]. There’s no paparazzi, no cameras; that’s a big deal for me.

“I never considered people taking a picture ‘bothering’ me, but I don’t want people to misinterpret who I am as a person if they see me sneezing and they say I’m crying. I do really appreciate having the life where I can just go outside and not have to worry.”

Lohan was previously engaged to Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov before they split in 2016. Aside from her engagement, Lohan is expected to appear in an upcoming Netflix Christmas movie alongside Chord Overstreet.
