“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Malika Haqq was best known as Khloe Kardashian’s best friend — until she started to date Ronnie Magro from the “Jersey Shore.” The two instantly connected on Season 2 of “Famously Single,” but the good times didn’t last for long. They quickly hit a bump in their relationship when their communication suffered.

In a sneak-peek clip of the series obtained by People Magazine Friday, Haqq said Magro wasn’t committing to her fully and Magro said he had trust issues.

“I want to be able to be with somebody and go through experiences, not someone that I’m just going to be a safety net form,” he said. “And that’s what I feel in this because I’ve been through it before.”

One of the problems Magro, 31, and Haqq, 34, had in their relationship was the way they expressed their love.

“Ronnie and I are really, truly opposites,” she told People in June. “His love language is very aggressive. It’s verbally aggressive, it’s physically aggressive. It’s just the way he expresses himself.”

“My love language is communication. I’m a big communicator and I’m affectionate,” she continued. “We show our love language in two very different ways, so the way we were trying to communicate with each other was often misconstrued because we don’t speak the same language.”

She elaborated on her theory to E! Online.

“I think Ronnie and I were odds from the very beginning,” she explained. “I think that we define opposites attract. I think that in an environment that is as challenging as living in a loft for two and a half weeks with complete strangers, it's so unrealistic.”

She continued, “He and I are the type of people that gravitate toward having security blankets in situations and love happens to be one of those things for both of us. It got us through. It worked in the meantime. It just wasn't able to survive the test of ultimate time, like real life outside of the loft.”

They split in February after nearly three months of dating.

For now, Haqq is single, but looking. “I think that I'm a lover that's looking for a lover and that's not going to be easy to find,” she said. “It's not a quick, instantaneous thing and I just need to take my time.”

She shared a cryptic quote about love to Instagram. “Never be ashamed of how much you love, or how quickly you fall. Love fully, love completely, but most importantly, love naturally — and don’t you ever apologize for it. Don’t ever be sorry for loving the way your heart knows how,” it reads.
