Miami fitness model Natascha Encinosa won the hearts of the internet when she posted a photo to Instagram for Valentine’s Day. Encinosa regularly shares pictures of her fit body and workouts, but on Feb. 14 she did something a little different. She showed off her thighs in a way that resembled Chun Li from “Street Fighter,” and fans went wild.

The original post has garnered nearly 4,000 likes from her almost 60,000 followers. Two weeks later, after hundreds of fans suggested she consider cosplaying Chun Li, she posted a side-by-side photo of herself with the character. “LOL. I love y'all. Should I consider cosplaying Chun Li? #ivebeennamedthereallifechunli #thanks #iwish,” she captioned the image.

Cosplay, for reference, is when people dress up like a character from a movie, book, comic book or video game. This is especially true for any characters from Japanese genres of anime or manga.

That image quickly attracted more than 11,000 followers and inspired hundreds of comments. Some people said they were left “speechless” over the likeness and others agreed that Encinosa should try cosplay.

At this writing, Encinosa had not responded to a request for interview, but she seems to be enjoying her new fame. While her only self-description on Twitter is, “I lift,” she changed her profile picture to the Chun Li photo and changed her display name to reflect her new-found celebrity.

Aside from posting workout pictures and selfies, Encinosa, 20, also shares quotes on Instagram. For International Women’s Day Tuesday, she posted one about power. “There was a special force around her. She walked around with an energy which transpired to everyone she was powerful,” the saying reads.
