“Dancing With the Stars” may be pulling double duty this Fall because of “Dancing With the Stars: Juniors,” but the addition of pint-sized celebs to the lineup hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from buzzing when it comes to adult celebrities who could take to the dance floor for the original show’s 27th season.

The show, which premieres new episodes starting Sept. 24 on ABC, has not officially announced what celebs, or even which pros, would be participating, but that hasn’t stopped speculation from starting about just which celebrities would be putting on their dancing shoes and giving it their all.

As far as celebrities whose names have been floated are none other than Omarosa Manigault-Newman, the former White House Assistant and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison who has started making waves again following the release of her tell-all book, “Unhinged.” However. The report that she is being courted by ABC for the show does come from Hollywood Life, which means their reports shouldn’t be taken at face value.

If their report is false, it wouldn’t be the first time Omarosa has been wrongly linked to a reality TV show. Though she did compete on the first American version of “Celebrity Big Brother” shortly after her ouster from the White House, she was rumored to be joining Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” while she was still serving in her post.

Incorrect reports often circulate prior to an official casting announcement for “Dancing with the Stars,” with several celebrity names often tossed out in reference to people ABC is heavily trying to recruit. Prior to the premiere of the 26th season of the show this past spring, which was a shortened version of the original series and starred only athletes, rumors flew that Caitlyn Jenner, Kobe Bryant, Colin Kaepernick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were all approached to join the show and considering signing on. When the show aired, none of the four were featured on the series.

As for who could be featured on the season, an official announcement should come in the following weeks.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 27 premieres Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
