Prince William and Kate Middleton’s upcoming tour of Pakistan has been dubbed as the royal couple’s most complex tour to date. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s upcoming engagement has been given logistical and security considerations.

But even though this is the case, Prince William and Middleton are still looking forward to their upcoming tour. In fact, there are claims that their goals for the engagement echo what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle achieved in South Africa.

According to the statement released by Kensington Palace, Prince William and Middleton’s itinerary includes a visit to the programs that empower the youth and the various organizations that could help ensure that they have the best possible start in life.

“Access to quality education, particularly to girls and young women is one of the UK’s top priorities in Pakistan. The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to spending time meeting young Pakistanis, and hearing more about their aspirations for the future,” the statement revealed.

According to Express, these are also what Prince Harry and Markle wanted to achieve when they set foot in South Africa. While there, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with the Justice Desk Initiative, which works to educate and empower people to combat poverty and unemployment.

Prince Harry and Markle’s visit to Botswana, Angola, and Malawi was regarded as a huge success. As such, royal fans are expecting nothing less from Prince William and Middleton when they are in Pakistan.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s tour will kick off in the modern leafy capital Islamabad and then they will head to Lahore.

“Their Royal Highnesses will also spend time understanding the complex security picture in Pakistan. They will learn more about the challenges and opportunities, both of the past and today. The UK has been a key partner for Pakistan, and The Duke and Duchess will meet UK and Pakistan military personnel who are sharing expertise to improve security… As with previous overseas visits, The Duke and Duchess have asked that this tour allow them opportunities to meet as many Pakistanis as possible,” the statement read.
