Princess Anne once shouted at her daughter, Zara Tindall, while they were in public, and the latter didn’t seem to mind.

While at the Eventing World Championships in 2006, Princess Anne’s other child, Peter Phillips, witnessed the encounter between his mom and his sister. He said that Tindall couldn’t hear the bell ringing before the start of her showjumping due to the massive cheering so Princess Anne intervened.

In the YouTube documentary for Princess Royal’s 60th birthday, Phillips said, “At the World Championships in Aachen, there was the incident at the start of the show jumping round when Zara didn’t hear the bell because they’d announced that Germany had won the gold medal. So, all the German crowd was screaming and shouting and whooping and Zara was circling around and around waiting for the bell… And mother was jumping up and down screaming at the top of her voice: ‘Start! Just start!’”

Tindall eventually heard the bell, and she also won the individual gold medal in the World Championships. After the competition, Tindall reunited with her family, and she also made a hilarious comment regarding the incident.

The mom of two admitted that she didn’t hear the bell ringing and she didn’t also hear Princess Anne shouting at her.

“She did say when I came out ‘Did you not hear me shouting at you?’ And I was like ‘Um, no. Not with 50,000 other people,’” she said.

Meanwhile, Tindall also made headlines this week after it was revealed that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie used to be jealous of her.

According to Express, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter were jealous of the fact that their cousin was able to lead a relatively normal life because she wasn’t considered a royal.

After Tindall and Phillips were born, Princess Anne decided to not give them a royal title. But when Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were born, Prince Andrew and Fergie gave them a royal title.
