Some royal fans are convinced that Princess Diana is still alive even though it has become common knowledge that she died on Aug. 31, 1997.

On the online forum site Quora, some royal fans revealed why they think the conspiracy theory surrounding the Princess of Wales’ demise hasn’t died down until today.

Eileen Wood, a real estate assistant, said that the rumors about Princess Diana’s death still exist for the simple reason that there are tons of gullible people who can be convinced of anything.

“These are the same people who believe the Earth is flat, global warming is a hoax, the British royal family is all lizard people, vaccines cause autism, Australia doesn’t exist, the moon landing was faked, and a host of even crazier things,” she wrote.

Michael Agyeman said that he thinks some people still believe the absurd rumor simply because they are in denial.

“There are those that believe Adolf Hitler, Elvis, and Michael Jackson are still alive, amongst others. In this complicated digital world, it is both easy and hard to stay hidden… There is usually a money trail that points our discrepancies,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana also made headlines recently after an expert said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby will share some similarities with the late Princess of Wales.

Astrologer Penny Thornton told People that Baby Sussex will be quirky and unconventional and he or she will also be its own person. These qualities may be due in part to the fact that Prince Harry and Markle also have the same traits.

Since Markle is expected to give birth at the end of April or the beginning of May, the astrologer is convinced that their firstborn will be a Taurean. Those born under this zodiac sign are very stable, steadfast, and predictable. They also like things that are real and lasting.
