A woman in England has shared that she vomits up to 70 times a day due to a rare condition that she was diagnosed with in 2008.

Leanne Willan, 39, was diagnosed with gastroparesis, a chronic condition that affects the normal spontaneous movement of the muscles in the stomach. There are times Willan is unable to eat or digest anything and has to mostly stay at home due to constant nausea and pain, Ladbible reported.

After her diagnosis, Willian was fitted with a gastric pacemaker to ease the vomiting. The battery of the device ran out two years later and it caused her to go back to vomiting at short intervals.

Willian recently revealed that she had to maintain a distance from her daughter due to her condition.

"The worst part is that it took me away from my daughter and my family because I was always being sick and in pain. As a baby, I had really bad reflux. I was always a sickly child. When I had my daughter at 22, it got progressively worse. It was horrible, it was draining," she told Manchester Evening News.

"Before I got diagnosed, I was being sick all the time. Everything I drank just came back up. I couldn't keep it down. When it would stop working was always in the back of my mind," she added.

Willian has been out of a job for the past two years and hasn’t been able to meet her friends or family.

Meanwhile, the batteries for the gastric pacemaker cost a whopping $13,430 and in order to raise funds to purchase the device, the 39-year-old has set up a GoFundMe page.

"We are raising funds and awareness and need (around) $13000 for surgery so we would kindly ask that you are able to help donate this to help get Leanne her life back. We are asking as Leanne’s friends what anyone who is able to donate can do to help raise this much-needed funds for surgery," the page states.
