Paramount+ dropped the teaser for "1923", a new series featuring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The series is a spin-off to the drama series "Yellowstone" which revolves around a powerful family of ranchers.

The "1923" teaser shared Sunday on Twitter opens with a ranch, where a man is riding his horse. "Violence has always haunted this family," a voiceover can be heard in the background. "It followed us here. And when it doesn't follow, we hunt it down. We seek it."

The 30-second teaser shows glimpses of other characters, including Cara, played by Mirren, pointing a gun at someone in the wild, and Ford's character Jacob walking with a group of men. At the end of the clip, the title shows, "1923 - A Yellowstone Origin Story."

The upcoming series tells the origin story of the Dutton family and how they fought against various problems in their life including the Great Depression and the Spanish flu.

The series will start streaming on Paramount+ on Dec. 18 and is divided into two seasons with eight episodes each.

Twitter users shared their reactions to the teaser in the comments section.

One fan requested that at least one of the installments of the new series have a happy ending considering the fact that "Yellowstone" which is currently in its fifth and final season, won't have a happy ending.

"Can at least ONE installment of this series end happily? We all know YELLOWSTONE will end badly. 1883: I got to the start of the story becoming linear within script, saw a bad, sad, hard end coming, and quit watching," the fan wrote. "Stop making depressing sh-t."

Another one simply commented, "I'm so psyched for this show!!!"

Aside from the upcoming series, Paramount+ subscribers will also get to see many other original titles this month. "Tulsa King" featuring Sylvester Stallone in the lead is a crime drama, dropped its first episode on Sunday.

"Criminal Minds: Evolution" starring Zach Gilford and A. J. Cook is slated to release on Nov. 24. If you are a fan of animated movies, then the streaming service has dropped "Transformers: EarthSpark" on Nov. 11 while "Blue's Big City Adventure" will start streaming from Nov. 18 onwards.
