She was standing by him even though he cheated on her and got another woman pregnant. But after finally learning the truth about her husband’s schemes and lies, Lily will finally hit her breaking point and kick Cane out of the house on the Wednesday, Aug. 2 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Despite Cane (Daniel Goddard) cheating on her with Juliet (Laur Allen) and getting her pregnant, lying about it during the sexual harassment lawsuit and losing his job because of it on the CBS soap, Lily (Christel Khalil) has remained faithfully by his side. Things were admittedly difficult between them, but she didn’t see any point to throwing away their family. However, with the newest revelations about Cane’s past actions, Lily will have had enough.

She previously realized that Cane had taken $25,000 from the account they used for their kids’ school funds, and was assured that he had taken the money for an investment to help them make more money and prove he was committed to his family. However, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have since revealed the truth. Cane actually used the money to pay off Jesse (Max Adler), the videographer from Los Angeles who he hired to shoot footage that made Billy look bad and nearly cost Brash and Sassy their hockey deal.

Now, after realizing that her husband not only set the entire chain of events that led to their other problems in motion with his scheme, but stole their money from their kids and lied about it to her face, Lily will tell him she is done giving him second chances.

“I want you to leave this house,” she says in a preview clip. “Tonight.”

“You don’t mean that,” Cane replies.

“Pack your bags and get out!” She orders.

Cane will realize that Lily is in fact serious, and that he now has no choice but to deal with the last consequence of his actions. Though he was able to hold on to his marriage before, he had lost his job, and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) had also somewhat turned on him. Now, not only is he unemployed, but he has lost his wife as well.

To make matters even worse, his kids will also remain hostile towards him, and will rally around Lily when they realize that she has kicked their father out of the house. Without Lily, Mattie and Charlie by his side, Cane may finally realize just how much he screwed up his own life, and how much he has genuinely lost. Now, all he will have, if he chooses to take it, is a chance with Juliet and the ability to help raise their baby together—though it will never be the same as having the family he created with Lily.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
