They were close once upon a time despite being from warring families. Now, with Adam’s memories allegedly back on “The Young and the Restless,” he will have a chance to reconnect with Jack on the Tuesday, May 23 episode.

Adam’s (Marc Grossman) return to Genoa City has not been met with happy reactions from his family, and it appears someone didn’t want him back in town at all after he was shot on the CBS soap. However, following surgery, he finally remembered his life in town and everyone who was a part of it. Now, it appears that may include Jack (Peter Bergman) who will pay him a visit in the hospital.

“Adam reconnects with Jack,” spoilers reveal.

Jack being with him again could be a good thing for Adam since he usually had a positive effect on the Newman, but if Adam has an agenda for actually being back in town, then even Jack may not be enough to stop him from wreaking havoc on not only Victor (Eric Braeden), but Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Jason Thompson) as well.

Adam has been in touch with someone unknown since arriving in town and discussing how things have been going to plan, and also called someone to find a fall guy for who shot him, since he knows who really did it, but needs to handle it in his own way. If he really is up to no good and after hurting his family, then Jack isn’t going to have much of an effect on him now, despite any effort he puts in to try and once again serve as some kind of advisor to him.

Of course, Jack also could be too distracted to make sure Adam stays in check anyway. Not only is he still dealing with issues surrounding his mother’s deteriorating condition, but the incredible competition against his new launch for Jabot, which is being headed up by none other than his own sister, Ashley (Eileen Davidson).

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
