‘The Four: Battle For Stardom’
Will Zhavia have another chance to compete in “The Four: Battle for Stardom?” Fox

“The Four: Battle for Stardom” favorite, Zhavia, has just been booted off!

The 16-year-old longest-running member of The Four lost her spot to challenger Kendyle Paige during Thursday night’s episode. Kendyle was the final challenger to showcase her singing chops in the new Fox reality TV show competition.

After singing “Me, Myself & I” by G-Eazy and Baby Rexha, judges Meghan Trainor, Charlie Walk, Sean “Diddy” Combs and DJ Khaled decided to give her four yesses. Kendyle contemplated on who she will compete with and ultimately decided to go with this season’s most popular contestant, Zhavia.

Initially, the judges tried to convince Kendyle to not compete with their obvious favorite. But the singer said that since Zhavia is the “one to beat,” it’s only right to try and see if she can be better than her. Zhavia was the first one to perform her own rendition of Rihanna’s hit song, “Diamonds.”

Kendyle performed next with her own rendition of Zayn Malik’s song, “Pillowtalk,” and the judges praised her because her second song was better than her first. After both of their performances, the live audiences in the studio had the opportunity to vote for the one they want to see in “The Four: Battle for Stardom” next week, and they voted for Kendyle.

The judges were surprised by the audiences’ decision to boot Zhavia off since there are predictions that she could win. Fans of the singer also expressed their disappointment on Twitter. Some of them even vowed to no longer watch the upcoming episodes of “The Four” since Zhavia is no longer around.

Luckily, “The Four” just launched #TheFourComeback on Twitter, which means that a member of The Four will have the chance to return in the coming weeks. Even this move is being criticized by those who are not fans of Zhavia because they think that the show, the judges, and the network are trying to make sure that she will win in the end.

“The Four: Battle for Stardom” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
