Kim Kardashian made waves earlier this week when she was criticized for being caught texting during the Ferguson moment of silence and tribute at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday, but the reality star is also making news for something a bit more positive. Kardashian tweeted today confirming that she will be guest starring in the Season 4 premiere episode of the CBS sitcom “2 Broke Girls,” according to People Magazine. The episode will air Monday, Oct. 27, on CBS.

“2 Broke Girls,” which premiered in 2011, stars Kat Dennings as a poor waitress and Beth Behrs as a formerly rich, down-on-her-luck heiress, as they weather financial woes together and try to save enough to start a cupcake business. The show has done well in the ratings and has also been the subject of minor controversy, with numerous FCC complaints for its racy humor and crude jokes.

Apparently, the episode will feature a producer from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” visiting Dennings and Behrs’ characters about featuring their cupcake business in a fictional episode of the reality series. Does this mean Kim Kardashian will play herself? There are no details yet on Kardashian’s character, but her appearance will be interesting, considering Behrs’ character very much resembles Kardashian in background.

Kardashian tweeted about her excitement to be a part of the show:

The episode will not be Kardashian’s first foray into scripted television, having appeared in “CSI: NY,” “Drop Dead Diva” and “Beyond the Break.” The show will be Kardashian’s first sitcom appearance. Fans will see how she does in the new role, when Season 4 of “2 Broke Girls” premieres on Oct. 27 on CBS.
