A 55-year-old Florida man was arrested after stalking his neighbor's 6-year-old daughter for months. The middle-aged man even threatened to turn her "into a woman," Volusia Sheriff's Office said.

The accused Mark Greenburg's arrest on Sept. 3 follows months of complaints from his neighbors who accused Greenburg of abusing them and their children, as well as taking photos of the youngsters as he drove by, WTSP-TV reported.

Greenburg, of Deltona, a city located about 30 miles from northeast Orlando, was seen in the video of his arrest denying the accusations as police escorted him to a patrol vehicle during his arrest.

The sheriff's office, in a statement that accompanied the video, said his arrest came after at least 11 "incidents" over the course of the last eight months. According to an incident report obtained by Click Orlando, Greenburg yelled at his neighbors and their children with a megaphone and drove past their house while recording children on his phone.

Deputies arrived at his home last week after a neighbor complained that Greenburg walked to the end of his driveway and made several inappropriate comments to his 6-year-old daughter as she was playing outside. Greenburg allegedly told the girl he would make her "famous" and "turn her into a woman" or "big girl," the release said.

Deputies said several people shared accounts of Greenburg's unfitting conduct with the little child, including on the occasion when he offered to take her to Disney World, according to WTSP-TV.

The complainant told deputies that his daughter was so petrified by his comments that she refused to go out. But, Greenburg's comments were getting more frequent.

Deputies said on one occasion, the man was seen parked outside the victim's grandmother's residence even though he was never invited there.

Neighbors were relieved to know he was arrested.

"We just had to come together and get it all taken care of as a neighborhood," Austin Franco, a neighbor, told Click Orlando. "He got tired of us not doing anything to him or responding to him and he started to bring in the kids into it and that's when a month, two months, calling the kids' names, researching the kids' names, finding out where they lived."

Another neighbor, Shawn, said Greenburg made racially charged comments toward him. "He actually used the N-word toward... myself and another neighbor and he also made threats that day and in the past about what he wants to do us," he told the outlet.
