‘90 Day Fiancé’ Update: Ashley Accuses Jay Of Manipulating Fans After Scripted Allegations

“90 Day Fiancé” star Ashley Marston and Jay Smith may have ended their relationship but the former couple can’t seem to stop talking about one another. Ashley recently called Jay out after he accused the TLC series of faking his infidelity to create drama on the show.

Fans are aware that Ashley and Jay’s marriage began to fall apart after their wedding. A few days following the couple’s ceremony, Ashley learned Jay downloaded a dating app and was messaging women.

Although the two tried to work on their relationship, Ashley discovered Jay was being unfaithful again and eventually ended their marriage.

On Wednesday, Ashley took to Instagram to call Jay out after he claimed the producers of the TLC series staged some of the couple’s arguments. “It seems Jay wants to keep talking about him and me, while I’ve moved on. Recently, it seems he wants to DENY CHEATING on me and claim it was made up for the show,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“Now, as my followers have noticed, I’ve not mentioned Jay whatsoever. I’m moving on, and I’m happy. But you want to DENY CHEATING on me and claim it was made up for the show? Well, that’s when enough is enough, and I’m going to speak out.”

In an interview with In Touch, Ashley slammed Jay for trying to dismiss his infidelity during their marriage. “For the same reasons Jay is talking to you now is the same reason he got caught cheating while filming a reality show about his relationship, he is young and thinks he’s able to manipulate everyone,” she told the site.

Ashley admitted she was disappointed with the way her relationship with Jay turned out, and how he failed to take responsibility for his actions. “I think he’s young and has never had anyone hold him accountable or give him direction,” she explained.

“I loved Jay for god knows why and became more of his stability and parent than his wife and partner,” the “90 Day Fiancé” star continued.

Ashley went on to insist that she has moved on from their relationship and hope Jay does the same. “Jay isn’t capable of being an adult and carrying on like an adult at this point. I’m not mad about this attempt to manipulate at this point. I’m tired of talking about a show that stopped filming, and a relationship that ended months ago,” she added.
