“Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 finally revealed to viewers what Coulson (Clark Gregg) has been drawing— a city. Now that they know what they’re looking for, the S.H.I.E.L.D. team has to keep Hydra in the dark. That might require a lot of effort from S.H.I.E.L.D., according to the synopsis for “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 episode 8, titled "The Things We Bury."

Coulson and his team will be “in an epic face-off against Hydra to uncover an ancient secret.” Coulson said in the last episode that Hydra wants to know what the alien writing means. If they’ve figure out that it’s a city, S.H.I.E.L.D. will have to beat Hydra to it. This “ancient secret” might go back to the beginning of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s history since Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) will guest star on the show again, likely in a flashback.

Ward (Brett Dalton) will also be in this episode. While he proved that he was on Coulson’s team last week, he might still have his own agenda. He will kidnap his own brother, Sen. Christian Ward (Tim DeKay), “for a violent trip down memory lane,” the synopsis teases. Some one-on-one time might reveal which brother told S.H.I.E.L.D. the truth about their relationship. Christian claimed that Ward was the violent one, while Ward said that Christian wanted to leave their brother to die in a well. Will we find out who is telling the truth?
