After rolling out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the AT&T variant of its flagship Galaxy S3 smartphone Tuesday, Samsung started to push the Android 4.1.2 update to the international version of Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) Wednesday.

Being Samsung’s flagship smartphone and also its biggest worldwide selling device, Galaxy S3 is given the top priority in software updates by the company. The South Korean tech giant keeps on updating the device to the lasts versions of Android, according to Sam Mobile.

The report has stated that since the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is being rolled out in phases, some users might not be able to update their Galaxy S3 devices to the new firmware version right away. However, the users are advised to keep patience as the update will arrive in their respective countries or network provider soon.

At the time of reporting, the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S3 had just become available in Poland. Here are the official firmware details:

On Tuesday, AT&T became the third major U.S. carrier to release Jelly Bean to its Galaxy S3 models, after Sprint and T-Mobile that released the new Android version to their Galaxy S3 units in October and November respectively.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update will bring a number of new features to Galaxy S3. The update will include subtle modifications to the way the notification shade works, allowing the notifications to be expanded with a single finger swipe down.
