“The Codys pull off a risky robbery that results in a big realization for Craig (Ben Robson),” the “Janine” synopsis teases.

Smurf is no longer in charge of the boys’ jobs, but they still need her to launder their money. Although J wants to cut Smurf out of things for good, it means the group will have to pull dangerous jobs.

Last season, Frankie (Dichen Lachman) showed Craig how she effortlessly scammed rich people out of millions without putting herself in harm’s way. Will Craig consider cutting ties with his family for a different criminal path?

In the “Animal Kingdom” Season 4, episode 1 promo video, Pope is seen fighting in a caged ring. “The relationship between Smurf and Pope (Shawn Hatosy) remains rocky even as Pope tries out a new outlet for his anger,” the TNT synopsis says.

Pope started to spiral out of control during Season 3, and it appears he may be using cage fighting to channel his rage. Will taking out his anger on someone else fix his strained relationship with Smurf?

“Deran (Jake Weary) involves Adrian (Spencer Treat Clark) in the family business despite warnings from Craig, as J tests the waters of his new identity outside the Cody empire,” the “Janine” synopsis states.

In the Season 3 finale, Adrian was arrested for trying to board a flight with drugs in his surfboard. Now that his surfing career is seemingly over, will he fit in with the ruthless Cody family?

“A new criminal crew is introduced with a surprising connection to the Cody,” the synopsis reveals,” the TNT synopsis teases.

While not much is known about the new crew in town, the Cody’s are already struggling to get along. Will a new and better crew be the factor that breaks them apart or brings them back together?

“Animal Kingdom” Season 4 premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
