A podcaster, who was also a QAnon follower and attended the far-right “ReAwaken America” event where many guests were maskless, has died of COVID-19.

Douglas Kuzma, who hosted a podcast on the “Frog News Network” died on Monday from the coronavirus. His daughter Amanda Kuzma confirmed his death on Thursday to The Daily Beast.

“I really loved him and I would do anything for him,” Amanda Kuzma told the outlet at the time. “He was a great father.”

Douglas Kuzma became sick a few days after attending the event and blamed his illness on bronchitis. After sharing his symptoms on Facebook and receiving advice from his followers, Kuzma refused to go to get tested.

“No way,” Kuzma replied to a Facebook user who encouraged him to get a COVID test. “You must have lost your mind so they can kill me. And try to give me the jab. There’s no way bro I‘ll die at the house before I go to the hospital.”

The anti-vaxxer was found unconscious in his home on Christmas Eve and transported to Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Virginia. However, once he arrived, his lungs did not respond to treatment.

Reports of Kuzma’s deteriorating health were shared on Telegram by Trump-allied attorney Lin Wood.

“Doug is suffering from Covid after returning from a recent patriot conference. Anna [a friend of Kuzma] informs me that Doug has taken a turn for the worse,” Wood reportedly wrote. “His lungs are not responding to treatment.”

Prior to his death, on Christmas Day, an administrator for the Frog News Network informed Telegram users that Kuzma was placed on a ventilator and needed “heavy, heavy prayers.”

The message also acknowledged Kuzma’s last post featured the podcaster posing with the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin, which some believe can treat COVID-19, despite studies that have found the drug can be ineffective against the virus.

The most effective treatment for Covid currently involves monoclonal antibodies, which are administered via a drip
