The boys on the CW’s “Supernatural” may be getting a little help from a superhero in Season 11, if we are to believe new rumors that hint at a casting crossover. With Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) heading into a wrestling-themed episode when the show returns in 2016, “Arrow” star Stephen Amell may be teasing his involvement following his award-winning performance at WWE SummerSlam 2015.

As previously reported, the Winchester brothers will find themselves chasing something spooky all the way into the world of professional wrestling in episode 15 of Season 11. According to TV Line, the boys will brush up against a group of professionals on tour, including “Gunnar Lawless,” a wrestling legend grappling with regrets, “Shawn Harley,” a quick-tempered and ambitious rookie on the rise, and “Rio,” their intrepid female manager.

Soon after the wrestling episode was announced, another star in the CW’s collection of hits, “Arrow” lead Stephen Amell, posted a photo of himself watching a rerun of “Supernatural” to Twitter. As CinemaBlend notes, while the tweet in question isn’t necessarily indicative of a crossover or guest role, it’s not completely outside the realm of possibility for the actor to be attracted to something with a wrestling theme.

Earlier this year, ComicBookResouce notes that Amell was awarded a Slammy from the WWE for “Celebrity Moment of the Year” for his tag-team match. The actor was in the ring in the first place after he was attacked by Stardust (Cody Rhodes) while attending a WWE event as a spectator. Amell showed up at SummerSlam 2015 where he and Adrian Neville took down Stardust and King Barrett. Although the actor’s award was stolen by Stardust, an act he still lambasts the pro for on Twitter, the event proved Amell's talent when it comes to wrestling.

In addition, his cryptic tweet at the very least proves he’s a fan of “Supernatural.” And this wouldn’t be the first time the actor has personally facilitated a TV crossover. Thanks to his championing of NBC series "Constantine," the actor helped get John Constantine (Matt Ryan) on a Season 4 episode of “Arrow.” It may be a long shot, but there’s a big possibility that a cameo from the “Arrow” star might be in store for CW fans when the Winchester brothers find themselves in the ring as episode 15 drops in 2016.
