In "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," Vinland or America is a secret playable map that not all players have explored yet. Although it would not affect the main game, Eivor could use it as a diversion from the pressures and demand of Saxon England. Now here are some useful tips and tricks on how to unlock it in the game.

How To Unlock Vinland

Before unlocking Vinland, players must first complete the Lunden storyline. It can be accessed as soon as Eivor pledges to Lunden on his Alliance Map. Players must also make sure that they have built the Hidden Ones Bureau in their Ravensthorpe settlement. Doing this gives players the trademark Leap of Faith ability.

Players need to kill specific members of the Order of the Ancients, such as The Leech, The Compass and The Arrow, also known as Sister Frideswid, Vicelin and Avgos. Players must also eliminate Leofgifu who can be found in the Order tab of the player's menu.

Located in a camp in the northeast part of Granterbridgescire, Leofgifu would be an easy kill. After taking her out, players must eliminate Hunta, who is in the market of Ledecestrescire. After all the members are killed, Grom Kjotvesson will appear. He is another member of the Order of the Ancients.

Players should then return to Ravensthorpe for the In A Strange Land quest. They must talk to Hytham and Randvi. Vinland will now surface on the bottom left corner of the Alliance Map table. Once players pledge to it, they can go to the dock and see Nessa, who will take them to Vinland.

What Is Vinland?

While the term Vinland sounds very mysterious, it simply pertains to North America at the time of the Viking conquests. Upon his arrival in Vinland, Eivor will meet Iroquois. There will be a language barrier between them, but Indians will provide support in terms of equipment to help Eivor survive in an unknown environment.
