Jade Roper is taking a stand following her BFF Liz Sandoz’s debut on Season 21 of “The Bachelor.” For those of you still struggling to put names to faces for this season’s unusually large cast, Liz is the brunette who had met — and hooked up with — Nick Viall before signing up for the ABC dating competition.

Entertainment Tonight sat down with Jade during a charity event on Nick’s “Bachelor” premiere night. The former “Bachelor in Paradise” star didn’t hold anything back, telling the publication she was “disappointed” in the way Nick reacted to Liz being on the show. Fans will recall that Nick did not immediately address his connection to Liz, but realized within minutes that he knew her from somewhere. The pair sat down to discuss their past later in the show, delivering one of the most awkward moments from the premiere.

Jade revealed that her gal pal had confided in her before appearing on Season 21 of “The Bachelor” that she was nervous. Like any bestie would, she tried to “prep her.” Jade maintained that she felt that Liz’s decision to appear on the show was “brave,” adding that she was behind her all the way.

“She had talked to me about it before she went on [the show], and I kind of tried to prep her for it and I’m proud of her for doing it. I feel like it’s really brave,” Jade told ET. “She really did have an interest in Nick and she went there to see if there was anything and I totally support her.”

[WARNING: Season 21 Spoilers Ahead]

Liz may need Jade’s support following Season 21, episode 2 of “The Bachelor.” Although she was given the opportunity to stick around after the big reveal that she and Nick had met before, Liz may not be a fixture on the show for long. Reality Steve — a trusted “Bachelor” spoiler blogger — believes he has some serious intel about what’s to come in the remainder of the season and it doesn’t look good for Liz. According to his breakdown, she could be out as early as episode 2. During the show the ladies — sans Whitney, Rachel and Dominique — will have the opportunity to go on one of two group dates with “The Bachelor.”

Liz will be put in the second group date of the episode, visiting the Museum of Broken Relationships with Nick and co-stars Christen, Kristina, Astrid and Josephine. During the date each of the ladies will be asked to pretend to break up with Nick in front of a group — an unconventional first date idea, indeed. Reality Steve’s blog states that it’s during this exercise that “Bachelor” fans will see Nick get slapped and drama between he and Liz come to a head.

He speculates that Liz will be sent home during the date after making her secret rendezvous with Nick public among the other ladies. Christen, who is shown alerting Nick to the confidentiality breach in previews for the episode, will be rewarded for her honesty. She is the projected winner of the rose for that date.

It’s not clear what will push Liz to come clean about her one-night romp with Nick. During “The Bachelor” premiere she repeatedly stated that she planned to keep it a secret between the two of them. Could it be that a lack of attention drove her over the edge?

Tune in Monday at 8 p.m. EST to find out.
