Barron Trump, the youngest child of President Donald Trump, will complete his fourth grade education at the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York City before moving to Washington, D.C. to stay in presidential family quarters inside the White House.

The 10-year-old is likely to get enrolled in a D.C.-area school to continue his schooling. For 35 years, Sidwell Friends School has been a popular choice for several American presidents’ children — including Barack Obama’s daughters, Bill Clinton’s daughter, Richard Nixon’s daughter and Theodore Roosevelt’s son. However, it is unlikely that Barron will attend that school.

“It’s [the school] associated with the liberal intelligentsia of Washington,” educational consultant Steven Roy Goodman told the Washington Post a day after Trump won the presidential election.

St. Albans School, the all-boys institution associated with the National Cathedral School and the Episcopal Church, is likely to be an option for the family, according to Susan Jones, an educational consultant at Dunbar Educational Consultants. It is the most "Republican-tolerant" school in Washington, D.C., Jones said, according to Town&Country magazine.

Apart from St. Albans, St. Anselm’s Abbey in the city’s Northeast and the Potomac School in McLean, Virginia are the other options for Barron, the Post reported.

Goodman told the newspaper that he generally counsels parents to see where they studied before choosing a school for their children.

“Given what I know about President-elect Trump, which is that he comes from more of a traditional, classic background, I think that might lead you to Virginia schools,” Goodman said, adding that St. Stephen’s and Agnes School or Burgundy Farm Country Day School in Alexandria or Westminster School in Annandale could be well-suited for Barron.

For now, the first kid will continue staying in New York City with his mother and first lady Melania Trump till he completes his fourth grade education at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. His father has already moved into the White House.
