President Joe Biden will speak in Washington on Tuesday to push for an abortion rights bill ahead of the midterm elections.

Biden plans to promise voters that he'll make legislation codifying abortion protections after Roe v. Wade was recently overturned by the Supreme Court.

Democrats are hoping to rally more voters for the midterm election by pushing for abortion rights legislation. Conservatives have a 6-3 majority in the Supreme Court and Democrats have a slim majority in the Senate.

Republicans are also favored to win the House in November, which would end hopes to pass a bill to codify abortion rights.
