According to Big Brother Network, Paul tried to convince his fellow houseguests to exercise aggressive emotional warfare on Cody if they want to get him out of the house. Jessica previously revealed that she has the third Den of Temptation, but she hasn’t revealed what exactly it could do to save her and Cody’s game.

Christmas Abbott was one of the first who got on board with Paul’s plan to target Cody. She and Paul spent some time coaching Josh Martinez on how he could piss off Cody more. Josh and Cody already have a strained relationship in the house, and Cody made it clear that if he could, he would take Paul and Josh out first.

However, not everyone was game with Paul’s plan. Matt Clines wondered if it was necessary to attack Cody. Matt also compared Cody and the other houseguests’ relationship with that of someone who has killed others while at war. Unfortunately, Matt questioning Paul’s plan did not sit well with Christmas.

Eventually, some people from “Big Brother” asked the houseguests to enter the Diary Room one by one, starting with Paul. The producers reminded Paul that inciting violence or promoting self-eviction to the other houseguests was not allowed. This means that Paul’s plan to encourage Cody to quit “Big Brother” and his attempts at “encouraging” him to get into a fight with another houseguest like Josh could no longer be instigated.

As of late, it is also unclear if any of the houseguests realize that Paul has been playing all of them. None of the remaining houseguests who are aligned with Paul have discussed the possibility. Ramses Soto, however, told Entertainment Weekly that he had always known while he was in the house. In fact, he also wanted to take out Paul with the help of Jessica and Cody.

“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
