“Big Brother” Season 19 recently saw Paul Abrahamian using his Power of Veto (POV) on one of the three nominees.

Initially, Paul put Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson up for eviction this week. But Jason Dent became a third nominee after losing in the Temptation Competition twist. As of late, no one is targeting Jason so Paul decided to use his POV on him just to make sure that he wouldn’t be at risk of elimination. But what Paul still doesn’t know is that neither Jessica nor Cody will be evicted this week because of Jessica’s Halting Hex.

This power gives Jessica the ability to halt any one of four succeeding live evictions. Two weeks have already passed since she received it, but Jessica still hasn’t used the Halting Hex. It can still be used until Aug. 10, but since she and Cody are in danger of being evicted this week, Jessica will most likely use the power that America gave to her.

Meanwhile, “Big Brother” executive producer Allison Grodner told Big Brother Network that everything will still go according to the usual schedule even if Jessica uses the Halting Hex. If an eviction ceremony won’t take place on Thursday night, the houseguests will still be competing in the next Head of Household (HOH) game. Both Jessica and Cody are qualified to compete, but not Paul, who will be the outgoing HOH.

In other news, Jessica and Cody already have plans for next week’s nominations if either one of them will become the HOH. According to the same publication, Jessica told Cody that she will put Raven Walton and Alex Ow up for eviction if she has the power. But after the POV ceremony, she will take Alex out and leave Raven with Paul up on the block.

Last week, Jessica already had all of the power in the house, but she decided to lay low with Cody in an attempt to win Paul’s trust. Unfortunately, this didn’t work, and she wasted her HOH reign by not taking him out.

“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
