“Big Brother” Season 19 evictee Ramses Soto recently opened up about his stint in the hit CBS show, as well as his shocking elimination.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Soto revealed that he was one with Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson’s plan to get rid of Paul Abrahamian ever since they realized that he’s been running the house. Unfortunately, the other houseguests either don’t realize that Paul has been playing them or are just too scared to get on his bad side.

“He’s an amazing player. He has the entire house convinced that he’s on their side. I truly thought that me and Jody could have taken him out since we were the only people to really see him as a threat since day one,” he said of Paul.

Last Thursday, Soto was put up on the block by Graf against Josh Martinez. Initially, Graf thought that Martinez was a much bigger target so putting him up for eviction against a pawn like Soto could mean that the latter is guaranteed safety. Unfortunately, the other houseguests had a different plan in mind. Since Martinez is a huge target, keeping him in the house means that everyone else could be safe if they are put up against him.

According to Soto, everything worked out for Abrahamian since Martinez also verbalized his dislike for Graf and Nickson. “And when Paul wants something done, he’ll have his minions to help,” he said.

In the end, Soto only received three votes to keep him safe, and those were from Nickson, Elena Davies and Mark Jansen. Davies and Jansen were also blindsided on Thursday night because Abrahamian did not tell them their plan to keep Martinez instead. Soto was also a bit surprised to learn that Kevin Schlehuber, his dad in the house, did not vote to keep him safe. But in the end, the self-proclaimed super fan said that he understood that it is just a game.

When asked if there’s anything he would change if he will be given the chance to return to the house, Soto said that he would talk Graf into using her Power of Veto (POV) on him.

“Big Brother” Season 19 airs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
