Bill Cosby and his wife Camille have released what they are calling an official statement about filing of Judge O’Neill’s opinion. The statement was posted on Instagram, where Cosby’s public relations team has been releasing information about the inmate.

In the statement from Cosby and Camille, the couple challenges the opinion that O’Neill submitted calling it “racist, exploitive and greedy.” O’Neill said in his 143-page opinion that the five other accusers that testified in 2018 had “chilling similarities,” which he said pointed to a “signature crime.”

Judge O’Neill presided over both of Cosby’s sexual assault cases. Cosby was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand. He is currently serving three to 10 years in prison for the conviction. He is looking to appeal his case and has blamed the late filing of the opinion by O’Neill for the delay in his appeal.

As the opinion was filed, the Cosbys called it “egregious,” with Camille claiming that O’Neill “has tried to turn Bill Cosby into one of the insidious stereotypes of African American men… the brutal, black buck.”

Cosby also went on to say in the Instagram statement, “I stand firmly with my wife on the foundation of solidarity and truth. Camille has always been a fearless warrior against corruption and bigotry. She’s not afraid of this unethical judge, nor am I afraid of O’Neill’s grossly immoral tactics. Keep fighting...Dear...I Love You Very, Very Much.”
