It’s almost time for the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, and we’ve got all the details about the major music event right here!

What date, time and channel will the show be on?

The three-hour telecast begins at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC on Wednesday (May 1), and it’ll air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. There will also be a live stream available on NBC’s website for those with a participating cable TV provider.

How can people watch the red carpet?

E! will broadcast the red carpet show, starting at 6 p.m. EDT. A live stream of the red carpet can also be found on BBMA’s Twitter page at the same time.

Who’s hosting the event?

Kelly Clarkson returns to host the show for the second year in a row.

“I had so much fun hosting the ‘Billboard Music Awards’ last year that I’m back for more,” she said in a press release. “We’re turning it up a notch this year and I can’t wait to celebrate all of my fellow amazing artists for another unforgettable night of live music.”

Who’s performing at the 2019 BBMAs?

The performers list includes Clarkson, Lauren Daigle, Khalid, Panic! At The Disco, Mariah Carey, BTS, Halsey, Jonas Brothers, Madonna, Maluma, Ciara, Dan + Shay, Tori Kelly, Paula Abdul, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

Who are the Billboard Music Awards 2019 nominees?

Cardi B, Drake, Grande, Post Malone and Travis Scott are nominated for the biggest award of the night, Top Artist. Bazzo, Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa and Ella Mai are up for Top New Artist.

Dan + Shay, Dua Lipa, Drake, Grande, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper all have nominations in the special Billboard Chart Achievement Award category.

As for Top Male Artist, Drake, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran and the late XXXTentacion are all competing for the trophy. Cardi B, Grande, Halsey, Mai and Swift are the Top Female Artist nominees.

Even if your favorites don’t end up winning in any of those categories, BBMAs 2019 will be honoring artists in quite a few others, including Top Touring Artist and Top Country Artist.
