Country singer Blake Shelton seemed to have had a good time at Usher's birthday party in West Hollywood Monday night, judging from his tipsy condition when he exited Bootsy Bellows nightcub, but when the paparazzi approached "The Voice" coach and asked about his recent beef with Westboro Baptist Church, he got very worked up.

The hostility came from the recent backlash Shelton recieved from the hate-mongering Westboro Baptist for allegedly cheating on ex-wife Kaynette Williams with his current wife, country superstar Miranda Lambert. On Oct. 3, Westboro accused him of adultery and threatened to picket his concert in Kansas City.

The church also went on to chastise Shelton for his support of gay marriage. According to Entertainment Wise, the singer quickly responded by tweeting: “Hey @WBCSays.. This isn't about God. It's about me using this opportunity to make y'all look like the absolute complete dips**ts you are.”

Shelton and Lambert meet in 2005, a year before he divorced Williams. The couple then wed in 2011.
