A lot of information about Jane Doe’s (Jaimie Alexander) lit tattoos will be unveiled in “Blindspot” Season 3, and Roman (Luke Mitchell) will be linked to it all.

Executive producer Martin Gero told TV Line that it would be fair to assume that Roman had something to do with lighting up his sister’s tattoos. But the exec of the hit NBC series clarified that the inks won’t have anything to do with Sandstorm or taking over the government.

Gero went on to remind viewers that Mitchell has been upped as series regular in Season 3. This means that he will be in all of the episodes and will play a huge part in tormenting Jane. The siblings had a fallout in Season 2, and Roman thinks Jane isn’t loyal to him.

“He’s our main bad guy, and first and foremost, he’s really hurt. Jane is the closest person to him in the world, and she chose Weller and the FBI over him. He’s been hurting about that. This isn’t the only reason for the tattoos, but there’s certainly a punitive part of the tattoos where he’s trying to imprison Jane by them in many ways,” he said.

NBC also dropped a new poster for “Blindspot” Season 3 that shows Jane’s tattoos lit up in pink and blue hues. Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) is standing beside her.

Meanwhile, Roman isn’t the only character that will have interesting storylines in “Blindspot” Season 3. Lead star Alexander revealed to the same publication while at the 2017 Emmys that Jane and Weller’s whereabouts will be revealed very early on in the series. The two characters will also be keeping a secret from each other. But whether or not they will share their secret in the upcoming episodes is what viewers need to watch out for.

Alexander also expressed her excitement over the entire season and said, “Oh my God, you are not going to believe what we are doing this year. I didn’t believe it!”

“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EDT.
