Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in a coma since January, but the feud between the Browns and the Houstons regarding the 22-year-old heiress' future continues. Here, she attends the opening night of "The Houstons: On Our Own" in New York City on October 22, 2012. Reuters

The battle for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s future continues to rage between the Houstons and Browns. The families are still arguing over the fate of the 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and late singer Whitney Houston, but a source ia now denying allegations that Whitney's sister-in-law Pat Houston wanted to “pull the plug” on the young heiress.

"Bobbi Kristina remains completely unresponsive. She cannot communicate. The heartbreak and the pain we feel in seeing her that way is beyond words," a source told People on Thursday. "No one is trying to pull the plug. No one is saying goodbye."

The source also said that Leolah Brown’s (Bobby’s sister) Facebook post stating that Pat (married to Whitney Houston’s brother, Gary) isn’t allowed near Bobbi – and the claims that her condition is improving – are simply not true. Leolah claimed Bobbi Kristina is no longer on life support, and that Pat Houston, whose real name is Marion Patricia Watson Garland, wanted to “pull the plug” on Bobbi Kristina, adding that “it’s costing too much money to keep her alive.”

The source confirmed the statements were false. Pat and Bobby are both legal guardians to Bobby Kristina, whose medical expenses are being covered by insurance.

"He's always been a little brother to her," the source told People, referring to Pat and Bobby’s bond. "She's like a big sister to him whether he likes it or not. They have a relationship. He's the father and Pat respects that very much. There are no issues between her and Bobby. If something comes up, they deal with it."

This directly clashes with Leolah’s Facebook rant, which claimed that Pat wanted Bobbi Kristina out of the picture. She also said her brothers Bobby and Tommy were the ones responsible for the 22-year-old’s medical care.

“Pat Garland wants Bobbi Kriss gone so bad she can't sleep at night. And we all know why. She may very well be the one giving this crap to the media!” Leolah said on Tuesday. “Please be sure and know that, ONLY my brother Bobby Brown and my brother Tommy Brown who is Bobbi Kristina's father and uncle, has gotten Bobbi Kristina the best care possible and that she is indeed continuing to improve in-spite of the LIES being told.”

Aspiring singer Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Georgia home on Jan. 31 by partner Nick Gordon. Gordon performed CPR on her, and Bobbi Kristina was alive and breathing when police and medical staff arrived. She was transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia and was placed in a medically-induced coma, though doctors said her recovery would be “a miracle.” Bobbi Kristina was moved to Emory University Hospital on Feb. 2 with “global and irreversible brain damage.” Doctors claimed the “quality of her life will not be known for years to come,” according to CNN in April.

Bobbi Kristina was named the sole beneficiary of her mother Whitney's estate after she passed away in February 2012. Houston was found unconscious in a bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hotel with several drugs found in her system.
