Brooke Shields shared the awkward pickup line that President Donald Trump once used on her.

On Tuesday, Shields made a guest appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" and recalled the time Trump courted her. "He said, 'I really think we should date because you’re America's sweetheart and I'm America's richest man and people would love it," Shields, 52, said (as quoted by Us Weekly).

The "Blue Lagoon" star added that Trump called her "right after" he divorced his second wife, Marla Maples, in 1999. Unfortunately for the president, Shields was in a relationshi, so she turned him down. "I have a boyfriend. He's not really going to be happy about it," she said.

Aside from the "Pretty Baby" actress, Trump has been rejected by many celebrities, including Salma Hayek, Candice Bergen and Emma Thompson. The latter admitted that she regrets turning down Trump's invitation for a date. "I wish I had. Think of the stories," Thompson said.

According to the "Sense and Sensibility" star, Trump called her the day after her divorce from Kenneth Branagh was finalized. "'Hi, it's Donald Trump here,'" Thompson recalled of the call. The business mogul reportedly called to offer her "some accommodation in one of my Trump Towers. They're really comfortable."

She added that Trump apparently also asked her to have dinner with him sometime. "I didn't know what to do with myself," Thompson explained. "'OK, well, I'll get back to you. Thank you so much for ringing."

After being rejected by a number of celebrities over the years, Trump seems to still be having trouble winning the hearts of stars now that he is president. A number of celebs have expressed their disdain and disapppointment over his leadership and choices since he took office earlier this year.

Just recently, the president criticized the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico for her poor leadership. However, celebrities such as John Legend, Chris Evans and more took to social media to call him out for his numerous blunders. The "Captain America: Civil War" star called Trump narcissistic, defensive and insulting, while Legend said that Trump is ahead in the worst president competition.

This was not the first time that Legend and Evans had criticized Trump. The two also slammed him over the white nationalist demonstration that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia in August.

"One of the most transparent lies Trump told today is that he likes to wait for the facts before he makes a statement. Hahahahahaahaha," Legend said in response to Trump's claim that he waited for the facts before he made a statement about the incident.
