Travelers from Canada are looking for luxury travel experiences but are still seeking great value when booking their holidays, itravel2000.com a leading travel retailer in Canada, said.

According to the travel retailer, there has been a significant increase of 500 percent in demand for affordable luxury brands, mainly including El Dorado and Azul Hotels, in the Caribbean and Mexico over the last two years.

itravel2000.com, a Travelzest brand, said the key factors travelers are looking for in a higher end vacation include quality of food, service and accommodation, which apparently El Dorado and Azul Hotels offer.

“We are seeing consumers looking for higher value accommodation and a richer experience. Properties like El Dorado and Azul Hotels offer the Gourmet Inclusive concept which meets our customers’ desires for gourmet dining, luxury accommodation and facilities and exceptional services, Jonathan Carroll, President of Travelzest said in a statement.

The ‘Going Green’ strategy of some of these hotels are also a reason why there has been an increase in demand for them.

The hotels are environmentally conscious whilst maintaining their commitment to service and quality. They grow fresh ingredients like vegetables, fruits and herbs in their own green house and providing fresh and quality products, free of chemicals and pollution, he said.
