Celebs ‘Stand Their Ground’, Boycott Florida
Celebrities have now lent their voices to the case that has stopped and outraged a nation, the acquittal of George Zimmerman. IBT

Many American celebrities of all races have spoken out against the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of unarmed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin. The likes of Beyoncé, Jay Z and Oprah have been seen joined rallies to protest what they see as an injustice, due in large part to the Stand Your Ground Law In Florida.

Stevie Wonder, for one, has gone on record to say he is boycotting Florida until the law is revised. We sat down with reporter Amethyst Tate to discuss the power of celebrities and if their voices could in fact push for reform.
