Google is planning to release a video campaign for Chrome web browser through the Google TV ads network.

Google has release a 30seconds video of the Chrome on YouTube. The video was created by Google Japan team to promote the browser by bringing it to televisions. The video ads that will be seen this weekend is part of Google experiment to see if it can drum up interest in Chrome

Using some of the results from our placement-targeted ads on the Google Content Network, we designed a Google TV Ads campaign which we hope will raise awareness of our browser, and also help us better understand how television can supplement our other online media campaigns, says the Google Chrome team in a post on the Google Blog.

Google doesn’t yet release any specific TV station where the ad runs but report says that the firm already talks with NBC Universal and Hallmark.
