The highly anticipated horror series, "Chucky," finally dropped its first episode Tuesday and fans couldn't stop praising the notorious monster doll.

The series premiere, titled "Death by Misadventure," was aired at 10 p.m. ET on the USA Network and Syfy cable channel. The first season consists of 10 episodes, which will release every Tuesday.

Fans who were eagerly waiting for the show were very excited after its premiere.

One person shared a clip showing 14-year-old budding artist Jake Wheeler taking the doll on stage to perform a hand puppet show. But the boy failed miserably as the evil doll took over the performance. "Whole scene was perfect OG Chucky really back," the fan wrote on Twitter.

Another fan praised the evil doll for not even using a knife to kill a person and said, "First kill of the season and my boy didn't even need a knife. The OG IS BACK!!!"

The Twitter handle of USA Network also encouraged fans to share their opinion about the first episode.

"It's really great i didn't know what it was gonna be like I enjoyed every min of it," a user replied to the network. "I can't wait till episode 2 give me something good to eat....sounds like a true killer episode to me if ya know what i mean hahaha hope you enjoy it."

Don Mancini, the showrunner of the series, spoke about the first episode in an interview Tuesday.

"The main character is a 14-year-old gay boy who's bullied and sort of lost after the recent death of his mother," Mancini told EW. "He's a young artist [making] sculptures with doll parts. He finds Chucky at a yard sale and buys him, but it turns out that he gets much more than he bargained for."

The fictional character Chucky was first introduced in the 1988 movie "Child's Play." Many other movies were also made based on the killer doll, including 1998's "Bride of Chucky," 2004's "Seed of Chucky," 2013's "Curse of Chucky" and 2017's "Cult of Chucky." A reboot of "Child's Play" was released in 2019.

The second episode of "Chucky," titled "Give Me Something Good to Eat," will air on Oct. 19 on the USA Network and Syfy cable channel.
