“Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure” concert at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago is canceled. The ongoing coronavirus concerns have led to the cancellation of this event.

Toei Animation tweeted the official announcement of the “Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure” concert’s cancellation, which was scheduled to happen on March 27 in Chicago’s Rosemont Theater.

“It is with great sadness that we are announcing the cancellation of the Dragon Ball Symphonic Experience concert at the Rosemont Theatre on March 27th, due to the ongoing coronavirus situation,” the statement read.

“This global health concern has made travel for our invited guests impossible and has raised concern for the health and safety of all attendees. While we are disappointed in having to make this decision, we do so for the sake of the well-being of everyone involved: performers, crew, invited guests and you, our wonderful fans.”

Back in November 2019, Toei Animation and Funimation announced the live orchestral concert series – “Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure” to be premiered in Chicago on March 27. Overlook Events was set to produce it and AWR Music Productions was presenting the show, Anime News Network reported.

In the light of coronavirus, several events are called off or delayed. Here are some of the events canceled or postponed.

  1. The NBA suspended its upcoming season on March 11 because of the coronavirus outbreak.
  2. Rafael Nadal tweeted about the cancellation of the BNP Paribas Open, which was scheduled to happen in Indian Wells, California. The local health officials announced a public health emergency after a confirmed case of coronavirus in Coachella Valley.
  3. SXSW 2020 was called off as various companies like Apple, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook withdrew their participation. The event was set to happen from March 13 to 22.
  4. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which happens in the desert of Southern California has been postponed to this October. Now, the Coachella festival will happen from Oct. 9 to 18.
  5. Apart from events, the coronavirus also affected the release of the new James Bond movie. “No Time to Die” will release on Nov. 12, 2020, in the U.K. and Nov. 25, 2020, in the U.S.
