It’s semifinal time on Season 19 of “Dancing with the Stars” and it looks as though the five remaining couples are really starting to feel the pressure, specifically Alfonso Ribeiro -- in his lower back. According to reports, the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor nearly took himself out of the 2014 competition when he suffered a painful injury during his Week 10 rehearsal with partner Witney Carson.

“This is an emergency. Call the doctor ASAP,” Witney demanded in a behind-the-scenes video as Alfonso lay in pain on the dance floor of their practice studio.

“It took my breath away. I started feeling incredible pain in my lower back and every movement hurt more and more,” he told the physician. “This is the worst possible time, this late in the game -- sucks. I really want to keep going but I just don’t know if my body is going to let me continue.”

Alfonso even tweeted out to his fans, seeking their prayers and well-wishes to get him back on the ballroom floor for Monday night.

However, not everyone was sending the crowd favorite good vibes. According to Naughty Gossip, a source revealed Alfonso is “faking his injury” to gain sympathy votes.

“Reports that he injured his back during rehearsal Wednesday night as he tried to overcompensate for a groin injury which he suffered on the show are exaggerated. Alfonso did skip rehearsals Thursday so he could get an MRI. He is being that dramatic,” an on-set source told the gossip website. “This is typical 10th week bull----.”

The insider elaborated on the accusation, explaining when the doctors were called to rehearsals to evaluate Alfonso they found no injury. “He manipulated the producers and thought he could fool the doctors, however -- no can do!” the source continued. “They thoroughly examined him and determined he is fine -- just tired! There is literally nothing wrong with him other than fatigue. The chiropractor there is just giving him massages. That faker is dancing on Monday.”

If Alfonso performs Monday, Nov. 17, he will be dancing two unlearned dances during “Plugged/Unplugged Night”: an Argentine tango and contemporary routine.
