While it's reported Marvel could be releasing "Daredevil" Season 2 to compete against "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," this isn't the first time Marvel has taken on DC Comics. "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" was originally going to be released on May 6, where it would compete against "Captain America: Civil War." However, in August 2014, Variety reported that Warner Bros. decided to move up the release date of the Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill superhero movie to avoid "blockbuster confrontation" with the newest "Captain America" movie.
