Things in Salem haven’t been the same since Sami showed up at John and Marlena’s wedding and exposed that Kristen was there and posing as Susan. Now, as the attempts to find Kristen and bring the terror in town to an end continue, the most dramatic consequences yet could unfold on the Friday, Aug. 31 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Since Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) fled the scene of the wedding, Marlena (Deidre Hall) has been fighting for her life after Sami (Alison Sweeney) accidentally shot her on the NBC soap. Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) have also gone missing, worrying their loved ones, and now, Sami, who had been in police custody, is also nowhere to be found. Rafe (Galen Gering), who had been questioning her, was found unconscious on the floor of the station.

Now, all of the people in town who are unaccounted for could converge on the same scene. Paul (Christopher Sean) became worried about his brother when he didn’t show up at the hospital like he said he would, and went to his room at the Inn to see if he was there. Upon arrival, he may find Brady and Kristen there, as she continues her plans to seduce him.

However, Sami may also be headed there to see if she can fight Kristen. Meanwhile, Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) made a discovery in their freezer at the bar. The venue was the last place Eve was seen before Kristen took her hostage, so she will likely be what they find. When they free her, she too will likely head to the Inn as soon as possible to try and reunite with Brady.

As everyone arrives at the room though, things could quickly take an unexpected turn. Paul and Sami, in particular, will try to confront Kristen and take her down, as Eve tries to keep her away from the man she plans to marry. However, as the situation continues to spiral, it could have deadly consequences.

A preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above) shows two people fighting and falling out of a window, as Brady, Eve and Sami all look on in shock. If all five are in the room together, then it could mean Kristen and Paul are the ones who fall, and things may not look so good afterward.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
