She was committed to still dating him no matter what anyone else said, but Ciara may reach her breaking point in her relationship with Ben after learning shocking new information about him on the Friday, Jan. 4 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Ciara (Victoria Konefal) has been determined to prove to everyone, especially her mother, Hope (Kristian Alfonso), that her relationship with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) could work on the NBC soap. No one wanted to give the former serial killer a second chance except for her, which also led to him working as the head of security for Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher), another move which appalled his critics. Now, that job may come back to haunt him and put his relationship in danger.

Gabi (Camila Banus) finally came clean about her scheme to get revenge on Stefan and Abigail (Kate Mansi) for everything they did to her, and now that Abigail has declined to press charges, Gabi may come clean about what took her so long to get to the police station and turn herself in when the truth came out. If she reveals to Hope that she had been kidnapped by Ben so Stefan could threaten her, the protective mother will seize on the opportunity to share the information with her daughter.

She’ll be delighted when she realizes she’s sharing the information with Ciara while she’s on a date with Ben—and she could stop them from consummating their relationship with her arrival. However, when she tells Ciara what she’s learned, it could stop a lot more than that, because Ciara had told Ben she didn’t want him doing anything illegal or sinister in his new job.

Now, the young couple’s relationship could be very much on the line, and Ben may quickly learn he no longer has any allies in Salem.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
