A new employee is joining Ryokushou in "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 2. The new episode is titled "The Sound of Four Petals."

The official website has unveiled the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 2. Mitsuru Horikawa joins the confectionary store as a part-time employee.

Once she was active in music, but now she is juggling between her music career and her job at Ryokushou.

In Episode 1 of "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" anime, Nagomu returned to Ryokushou after a decade but his grandfather was not pleased because Nagomu never cared about the confectionary shop.

Nagomu cleared that he was worried when his grandmother sent her a letter informing him about his grandfather’s illness. Now, Nagomu was ready to work at Ryokushou.

Later, Nagomu met with Itsuka who was going to be the successor of the store. Nagumo and Itsuka started working together. Moreover, he found out that he will be Itsuka’s father figure in this slice-of-life anime series.

“In front of Kyoto Station, Yukihira Itsuka mistakes Irino Nagomu for her missing father. She never imagined that he was the son and heir to a wagashi shop called Ryokushou—the same shop where she's been staying. When Nagomu and Itsuka begin working together at Ryokushou, they run into a little trouble,” read the official synopsis of "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 1, as per Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Kozue Yuki as Itsuka Yukihira, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Nagomu Irino, Minori Suzuki as Mitsuru Horikawa, Rikiya Koyama as Heigo Irino, Saori Hayami as Hiiro Kisaichi, Satsuki Yukino as Otsuru-san, Sayaka Ohara as Fuki Irino, Takuma Nagatsuka as Saki Seto, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Tomoe Yukihira, Hiroshi Iwasaki as Masa Tatsumi, Izou Oikawa as Ikko Irino, Maaya Sakamoto as Mari Yukihira, Miho Yoshida as Masayo Irino, and Minami Takahashi as Kanoko Matsukaze.

"Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" anime is based on the original story by Rin Asano.

The opening theme song of "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" anime is titled "Sumire" and is performed by Maaya Sakamoto. The ending theme song is titled "Koko ni Aru Yakusoku."

"Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 2 is scheduled to air Wednesday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
